"Garden of Eden, again" --- The News

This refers to "Garden of Eden ,again" published in "The Hindu" and other leading national dailies about a year back. The news was that a team of international scientists had found a lost world in an Indonesian jungle which is home to dozens of new species of animals and plants and there is no sign of civilization there.

The discovery is splendid but more intriguing is that this discovery tallies exactly with the description given by world famous Satyajit Ray in his story " The Unicorn Expedition" published by Decker & War berg, London.

Here are some of the lines of his story, which reveal this amazing similarities between fiction and reality.
"We were about to enter this world over the top ----------------- Mr. Mazumdar exclaimed,  'this must be the garden of Eden --yes, the garden of Eden! -------We landed gently on the green grass------ Never before have I seen such grass-----Not a single tree here is familiar to me. This is a completely new environment Saunders proceeded immediately to collect specimens of flora---------- He said, 'I feel like an uneducated boor up against these strange creatures in these unfamiliar surroundings------- I  'm glad to discover that there are still surprises left even for learned men like us in this planet of ours.

My comment----- If the story's plot is seer imagination and manifestation of  Satyajit Ray, should not we believe some spiritual Saint's saying 'What is discovered in the west after putting in years' labor and huge resources, in India we know it in advance by our spiritual powers.
